Muslims in Russia attend "Mawlid al-Nabi" ceremony

Muslims who live in Russia attended the "Mawlid al-Nabi", a ceremony to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and his conception of peace, love and dialogue.

Organized by the Russian Council of Muftis, the event which was placed in Crocus City Hall in Russian capital Moscow hosted more than 6000 people.

Diplomats of Muslim countries who are based in Russia attended the ceremony.

Many Muslims from Tatarstan, Tajikistan, Caucasia and Central Asia came together in Crocus City Hall to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and his conception of peace, love and dialogue. Especially, the attendance of many youngsters took attention.
